Who doesn’t want that ‘healthy glow’ to their skin ? I think most of us do and would like to try our best to do so. This is what I do myself and also what I recommend helps to keep your skin looking its best. It’s not a very long list as there are many other things I could have added, but this will give you a good start.
Exfoliating, face scrub or using a face wash that contains an exfoliative ingredient in is fantastic. If you don’t exfoliate now then start from this week, you don’t know what you’re missing out on seriously. This will slough away dead skin cells, brighten your complexion and leave your skin smooth. Remember to choose an exfoliator specifically for the face as one for the body will be too harsh for your facial skin.

Water – Dont underestimate your daily intake of water and the impact of being dehydrated can have on your skin. What we put in our bodies can often be reflected sooner or later visually. Try to build up your water intake to keep your skin hydrated. I struggle with this myself but have recently been getting better….plain water though please!
There is nothing better than having an intense deep cleansing facial treatment. Giving your skin a thorough cleanse will do it the world if good-by spending a little tlc on it. If you can’t afford a professional facial where the products used are more potent and not forgetting the skilled therapist, you can do one at home yourself! All you need is your normal skin care products like cleanser, exfoliator, masque, toner and moisturizer and do them all on the Same day. My ‘home facial’ should help you below which gives instructions step by step how to do one. 30 minute home facial – http://wp.me/p1YqQA-2F
Sleep – A good nights sleep is one of the best ways to give your skin the rest it needs to be its best. I know its sounds cheesy but its true. Think of when you’re lacking in sleep or when you have been up very late ? Your skin shows you often how it is feeling by lacking lustre, brightness and possibly even dark circles and puffiness under eyes. Your body needs time to recuperate itself, so listen to your body when it needs to stop and rest. You will feel better for it, and look better for it.
Get to know your skin by knowing what products to use to best enhance and keep your skin in good condition. The best way if you havent got a clue is to book an appointment with a professional, skin care specialist or beauty therapist to know what best products suit your skin. There is no point using any old stuff on your skin, not seeing results but continuing to do so. Most places offer you a free consultation and that way you will know once and for all how to achieve that healthy looking glow.
And finally be patient, skin can not just change instantly and needs time to adjust and improve. Be realistic and not too hard on yourself. If you have a poor routine and don’t normally look after your skin, then it may take a while to start seeing a difference once you do. So if you do have any questions about your skin or on any part of this post then you are more than welcome to leave me a comment below. I will give you my best possible answer and advice xx
