Ok so I am just loving what I have done to my nails and cant wait to hear what you all think of it. Now if you have shaky hands or wonder how diagonal lines are done on nails then this is for you.
What you need
Cellotape in 10 pieces
Barry M – gold crackle nail effects 321
Gold glitter nail art pen (thin brush needed, i used beauty forever’s no 16)
Black nail varnish – (I used 17′s nightshade)
Base coat and top coat

I put the cellotape pieces across my nails in a diagonal way from the bottom left corner upwards (check all nails have tape on even and to same height

I have now painted my nails black going right up to the cellotape line (make sure tape is really stuck to your nail so it doesn't seep through any gaps)now leave nails to dry for a few minutes untill next step !

Start to peel off the cellotape on each nail and you should reveal a straight edge (you can wipe away any smudges with a cotton bud dipped in varnish remover)

This is how they should look with the cellotape pulled off

Now use a very thin layer of crackle on to your nails but just on the black colour up to the line to create small tiny crackles. (The thicker the layer of crackle the bigger the crackles will appear)

Now wipe a line of glitter on and just over the line to join the unpainted part of the nail and the crackle part (this will also hide any messy edges)

Now apply top coat after a few minutes to seal in colours and to add in some shine
Hope you liked this look, I really like this and it doesn’t take to long to do either any comments welcome below. Why not try this out yourself ?
